Event Details

This national contest is aimed at entertainment reporters and editors, film and television critics across the country, including foreign journalists. Open to all U.S.-based entertainment journalists for work published or disseminated during 2010/2011 (January 1st 2010 – June 30th 2011). All categories judged and awarded separately. Entries in a foreign language must include a translation.
One cash prize of $500 is awarded to Entertainment Journalist of the Year.

Hugh M. Hefner, the legendary editor-in-chief and founder of Playboy Magazine, will receive a lifetime achievement award from the Los Angeles Press Club at its 4th Annual National Entertainment Journalism Awards Gala on November 17 at historic Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

At the Gala, the Press Club will also hand out plaques honoring entertainment journalists across the nation who work on all media platforms.
